These Terms & Conditions govern use of diptera.store and purchases made through the website. By placing an order, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under mandatory consumer-protection law.

2. Scope and eligibility

These Terms apply to consumer purchases only. You must be legally able to enter into a binding contract to place an order.

3. Products and product information

We aim to present products, colours, materials, sizing and details as accurately as reasonably possible. Colours can vary between screens, devices and lighting conditions. Minor variations that do not affect the product’s conformity with the contract may occur.

Product images are illustrative unless expressly stated otherwise. Please review the product description, size guide and care instructions before placing an order.

4. Prices, currency, VAT and import charges

The price and currency displayed at checkout apply to your order. Prices include VAT where Diptera is required to collect it. Where tax is required to be calculated at checkout, the applicable amount is shown before you place your order.

Pricing may be adjusted by destination market. A higher price or shipping fee for a destination is part of Diptera’s retail pricing and does not mean that destination-country import duties or taxes have been prepaid.

For deliveries outside the EU, including the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, the United States and Canada, import duties, taxes, customs-clearance fees, brokerage fees and other destination-country charges may apply. Unless checkout expressly states that duties and taxes are prepaid by Diptera, these charges are the recipient’s responsibility.

We may change prices, promotions and availability before an order is placed. This does not affect an accepted order, except in the case of an obvious pricing, technical or listing error.

5. Orders and contract formation

Submitting an order is an offer to purchase the selected items. The automatic order-receipt email confirms that we received your order; it does not by itself mean that we accepted it.

The contract is formed when we send a dispatch confirmation or otherwise expressly accept the order. We may decline or cancel an order before dispatch where reasonably necessary, including if:

• an item is unavailable;

• there is an obvious pricing, technical or product-description error;

• we cannot verify payment, identity, address or order information;

• the order appears fraudulent, abusive or intended for unauthorised resale; or

• fulfilling the order would breach applicable law or sanctions.

If we cancel an order before dispatch, we will refund payment received for the cancelled item(s) without undue delay.

6. Payment

Payment must be completed at checkout using one of the payment methods displayed there. Available methods may include Shopify Payments, Stripe, PayPal, Klarna, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay and payment cards, depending on your location and checkout eligibility.

We do not dispatch orders until payment has been authorised and received. Payment providers may apply their own terms, privacy notices and verification requirements.

7. Delivery

Delivery destinations, shipping options, estimated delivery times and shipping costs are shown at checkout and described in the Shipping Policy.

Delivery estimates are not guaranteed dates unless a specific delivery date has been expressly agreed. Diptera remains responsible for delivery within the period required by applicable law. If delivery is substantially delayed, contact us so we can investigate and provide the remedies required by law.

For consumer orders, the risk of loss of or damage to goods passes to you when you, or a person nominated by you other than the carrier, take physical possession of the goods. This does not apply if you independently appoint a carrier that was not offered by Diptera.

8. Returns and defective goods

Consumer withdrawal rights, return instructions and refunds are described in the Return & Refund Policy. Your statutory rights if an item is defective, not as described or otherwise non-conforming are not limited by these Terms or our policies.

9. Pre-orders and made-to-order items

Pre-orders and made-to-order items are subject to the Pre-Order & Made-to-Order Policy. The relevant product page will state the estimated production and dispatch timeline.

10. Gift cards

Diptera gift cards may be used only for purchases through the Diptera website and are subject to the terms displayed when the gift card is purchased or redeemed. Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash except where required by law. Diptera is not responsible for a lost, stolen or unauthorised-use gift card after delivery to the purchaser or recipient, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Website use and intellectual property

All content on this website, including trademarks, logos, designs, photographs, videos, text, graphics and product names, is owned by or licensed to Diptera and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may use the website for personal, lawful shopping purposes only. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, commercially exploit, interfere with or otherwise misuse our website or content without our prior written consent.

12. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including statutory rights relating to defective goods.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Diptera is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, loss of business opportunity or loss of data arising from use of the website or products. This does not limit mandatory consumer remedies.

Products must be used in accordance with their product information and care instructions. This clause does not limit liability for non-conformity, personal injury or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. Personal data

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland. If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of mandatory consumer-protection rights under the law of your country of habitual residence where those rights apply.

Please contact us first at diptera.clothing.supp@gmail.com so that we can try to resolve a complaint directly. Consumers in Finland may seek guidance from Finnish Consumer Advisory Services and may refer eligible disputes to the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board. Nothing in these Terms prevents a consumer from bringing a claim before a court with jurisdiction under mandatory law.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when our practices or legal requirements change. The version published when you place an order applies to that order unless a change is required by law or you expressly agree otherwise.
