This Return & Refund Policy applies to purchases made from Diptera through diptera.store

2. Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the European Union or European Economic Area, you generally have the right to withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 days without giving a reason.

The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party nominated by you other than the carrier, receive physical possession of the goods. If your order is delivered in separate shipments, the period begins when you receive the final shipment.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, submit a clear withdrawal notice before the withdrawal period expires through Diptera’s withdrawal function on the website or email us at diptera.clothing.supp@gmail.com. Please include your name, order number, the item(s) concerned and a clear statement that you wish to withdraw from the purchase.

We will acknowledge receipt of your withdrawal notice by email without undue delay.

3. Return procedure

After sending your withdrawal notice, return the item without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the date you sent that notice.

For a standard withdrawal, you are responsible for the direct cost of return shipping. We recommend using a tracked and insured delivery service and retaining proof of postage. You are responsible for the returned item until it reaches us.

4. Condition of returned items

You may inspect and try on an item in the same way you would in a physical store. Please handle items carefully and keep original tags and packaging where reasonably possible.

We may make a reasonable deduction from your refund if an item has lost value because it was handled beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics or functioning. This may include outdoor use, washing, stains, odours, damage, removal of permanently attached tags or wear beyond a normal indoor fitting.

Original packaging is appreciated but is not required to exercise a statutory right of withdrawal. Missing packaging alone does not invalidate a lawful withdrawal.

5. Refunds

For a valid withdrawal, we will refund the price paid for the returned item(s) and the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option available for the order.

We do not refund:

• additional delivery charges arising from a delivery option that cost more than our least expensive standard delivery option;

• direct return-shipping costs where you are responsible for those costs; or

• any lawful deduction for diminished value.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise. We may withhold the refund until we receive the returned goods or receive evidence that you have sent them back, whichever occurs first.

6. Defective, damaged or incorrect items

This section is separate from the right of withdrawal. If an item is defective, damaged on arrival, incorrect, or does not match its description, contact us promptly at diptera.clothing.supp@gmail.com.

Please include your order number, a clear description of the issue and photos where possible. Do not return a defective item before receiving our instructions unless we ask you to do so.

Where Diptera is responsible, we will provide a prepaid return label. Your statutory rights relating to defective or non-conforming goods are not limited by this policy. Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, the appropriate remedy may be repair, replacement, a price reduction or cancellation of the purchase.

7. Products excluded from withdrawal

Diptera currently sells clothing and accessories. If we later sell goods that are made to a customer’s specifications, clearly personalised, or otherwise subject to a legal exception from the right of withdrawal, the relevant exclusion will be clearly disclosed on the product page and at checkout before the order is placed.

Any withdrawal-right exclusion does not affect your rights if an item is defective, damaged, incorrect or not as described.

8. Orders outside the EU/EEA

For customers outside the EU/EEA, Diptera offers returns on the same 14-day basis described above unless mandatory local law provides more extensive rights. The customer is responsible for return shipping, customs declarations and any charges related to the return, except where an item is incorrect or defective due to Diptera’s error.

Import duties, taxes, customs-clearance charges and similar fees collected by customs or a carrier are not refundable by Diptera unless required by applicable law.

9. Refused, uncollected or undeliverable deliveries

If a parcel is returned because you provided an incorrect or incomplete address, refused delivery, did not collect the parcel, or did not pay import charges that were your responsibility, we may deduct the actual outbound, return-to-sender and any other directly incurred shipping costs from a refund where permitted by applicable law.
